Senior Web Engineer
Job Description
- Design, prototype, develop, and deploy new features and
functionality for Company's consumer website
- Work closely with Product Management and Creative Lead in
defining product requirements, prototyping, and translating them
into technical specifications
- Provide technical direction and guidance to junior
developers in design, development, deployment, and maintenance of
company's website
- Responsible for performance and scalability tuning of the
company's website
- Provide project estimations and LOE for roadmap features
- Perform production support and troubleshooting
- Apply best practices and proactively fill the gaps
throughout the iterative development cycle
- Identify opportunities for process
improvements/efficiencies and to drive adoption of high
priority/high value improvements within the team
- Manage time effectively with minimal supervision to
accurately scope projects and ensure that projects release on-time
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related engineering field
- 5+ years industry experience in web development
- Strong command of HTML/DHTML, AJAX, XML, XSL, JavaScript,
DOM, and JSP
- Expert knowledge of Flash and Flash based frameworks
(OpenLaszlo, Apollo, Flex)
- Expertise with cross-browser development practices
- Ability to convert a visual design spec into HTML/XHTML and
CSS
- Demonstrated experience with Photoshop

Senior System and Release Engineer
Job Description
- Collaborate with architects, developers, project managers,
and test engineers to define and maintain installs, builds,
automation, and best practices to ensure a repeatable and traceable
approach to release processes and procedures.
- Implement and manage a release structure supporting
iterative development of simultaneous projects with fixed-date
release schedules.
- Maintain production environment, scripting and automating
the build process, ensure the delivery of software release notes
from the developers.
- Drive system improvements and scalability.
- Properly communicate and document release processes,
policies, and procedures.
- Identify and evaluate new hardware, technologies, and
methodologies that can improve system scalability and performance
- Write shell scripts and test application software as
necessary. Troubleshoot network/system related issues
- Primary owner of system, networking and hosting issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related degree
required
- Minimum 5 years systems design, implementation and support,
server hardware, multi-platform system integration experience.
- J2EE (Tomcat, jBoss) on Linux server experience, including
expertise in system installation, configuration, administration,
troubleshooting, performance tuning, preventative maintenance,
capacity planning, monitoring, and security procedures
- Experience in at least two relevant scripting or
programming languages (Perl, Ant, Shell, etc.)
- Expert understanding of internet standards such as HTTP,
DNS, FTP, SSH, HTML, XML, JDBC, SNMP and other protocols
- Knowledge of storage systems (RAID Array, SAN, NAS, etc)
- Network hardware architecting experience with load
balancing equipment, switches, routers, and network troubleshooting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills when
working with technical groups
- Ability to produce system documentation, including writing
requirements, operational specifications, system architecture, test

- Graphic Artist is responsible for concept development, execution, and roadmap of all creative deliverables for company including consumer website

- Work with Marketing team to observe usability studies and translate the findings into design improvements

Requirements

- Passion for delivering quality user experiences
